Casella di testo: Wellington Heights is in the middle of Collie’s Residential delevopment area. It is very close to the centre of town but secluded in its own estate grounds, and unlike other residential devlopments in Collie, the Heights has not been razed to the round and filled in with yellow sand. The blocks are cleared yes, but as you can see in the photo, it is a shady area with smatterings of native trees (which thankfully have not been chopped down) interspersed  between new houses and landscape gardens. The hill area offers good drainage, while the presence of the shady trees and established gardens offer soil stability.The Heights is currently comprised of Wellington Boulevard and Robinia Rise, two cul-de-sac roads off Jacaranda Loop, which means quiet streets and local traffic only. It is also the only hill area in Collie, developed in the late 1990’s, early 2000’s (see aerial photo below) as a dress circe area with a view over the surrounding suburb from most blocks. The cleared empty area shown in the aerial photo below now houses, new homes and the Collie Ridge Hotel, with further development of the surrounding areas due within the year: to the left of the photo, into the forest area, and to the right of the cleared Heights area, beyond Jacaranda Loop, which is already established with blocks already sold.
